- Sale of a 16,000 ft. school facility on a 3-acre site on Washington Blvd. in Fremont for use as a Montessori school in 1998 for $2,700,000.
- Sale of the Glenmoor Shopping Center site in Fremont for residential development in 1998 for $7,000,000.
- Sale of 62 acres of county surplus land in Dublin in 1997 for $30,100,000.
- Sale of the 89-acre Weibel Winery site on Mission in Fremont in 1996 for approximately $18,000,000.
- Sale of the Laurel Glen parcel on Washington in Fremont in 1995 for $7,000,000.
- 5-acre office building at the corner of Stonebridge Drive and Chabot Drive in Hacienda Business Park in Pleasanton, upon which two buildings totaling 28,100 ft. was constructed by DEI for its own account in 1993. The total land plus building improvement cost was $3,467,355. The building has a current value of approximately $7,500,000. The value of the building and lease rates are steadily improving over time.
- 20 acres located in Fremont, purchased by DEI in 1985 for $750,000 and immediately resold for $1,500,000.
- 5-acre retail site on Warm Springs Blvd. in Fremont upon which a 9,100 sq. ft. retail office building was constructed in 1985 for total land plus building improvement investment by DEI of $1,136,339. The building was recently sold for $1,680,000 after being fully depreciated. DEI participated in a 1031 Exchange of the older office building for an approximately 2.97-acre parcel, without vesting, on Saklan Avenue in Hayward. The Saklan parcel was purchased by DEI for $2,250,000 with a seller credit of $400,000.
- 28-acre site at the corner of Mission Blvd. and Anza Street in Fremont upon which a 3,850 sq. ft. retail/ office building was constructed in 1978 for a total land plus building improvement investment by DEI of $364,233. The building was built as an in-house project and has a current value of approximately $1,750,000. The building is leased for $11,000 per month modified gross ($132,000 annually).
- 19-acre Galvan parcel on Mission in Fremont sold in 1976 for $700,000.
- 887-acre ranch in Cottonwood, sold in 1975 as part of a 1031 Exchange for $1,325,000.
- 21-acre Boitano parcel on Mission in Fremont, sold in 1975 for $690,000.
- 41-acre Boitano parcel on Mission in Fremont, sold in 1975 for $1,350,000.
- 5-acre assembled parcel on Milton Street in Fremont purchased for $300,000 and thereafter sold in 1974 to a builder for $700,000.
