Vice President
Tenant Relations and Property Management
James Wilson is Vice President of Tenant Relations and Property Management overseeing daily operations of residential and commercial properties to ensure optimal performance and tenant satisfaction. This position requires maintaining strong relationships with tenants, addressing their concerns promptly, and implementing initiatives to enhance their living or working experience.
Key responsibilities include coordinating property maintenance, managing lease agreements, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The V.P. will also conduct regular property inspections and manage budgets to optimize operational efficiency. Additionally, this role involves marketing available spaces and facilitating tenant onboarding processes.
James’ past work experience includes a leadership role as a Senior Buyer/Planner in the medical device, computer hardware, and Ethernet network industries. He managed suppliers both domestically and internationally, overseeing general business operations, new product development, the maintenance and improvement of supplier relations, pricing and negotiations, marketing, and overall short- and long-term planning James participated in global supplier quality audits and, as a member of the Lean Operations Concept Team, implemented processes and procedures that streamlined communication and improved efficiency. His well-rounded background has proven to be well-suited for the success and continued expansion of DEI. James earned a B.S. in Business (Marketing) from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College. He is currently a volunteer for OneChild, an organization that promotes self-esteem in underprivileged children, and is a former member of the Masonic Lodge as well as the church treasurer for Grace United Methodist Church.
